Meet Our Therapists

I received a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Sciences and Statistics from Brigham Young University. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, owner of Wellspring Healing and Therapy, and a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Utah Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve worked as a therapist for six years in the Utah area. I am also a member of the Internal Family Systems community and a level 1 trained IFS therapist through the IFS Institute (ifs-institute.com).

I provide individual, couple, and family therapy, and my specialties include anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), problematic/out-of-control sexual behavior, PTSD and overwhelming life experiences, and faith transitions or crises. My approach is informed significantly by the belief that we each have an inherent capacity for insight, compassion, and healing, regardless and sometimes in spite of our family background, religion, or cultural heritage. My purpose as your therapist is to help you connect with your own internal wellspring of compassion, confidence, and strength. My style of therapy emphasizes compassion and experiential healing, both internally and with the people you care about.

I primarily engage with my patients with an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy approach and incorporate aspects of the following models and interventions: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment-based therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Interpersonal Relations, and Compassion Focused therapy. I will provide an environment of acceptance, non-judgment, transparency, honesty, and compassion. As we work together, I believe you will connect with many of these traits, and many others, within yourself as well.

I accept SelectHealth, DMBA, BCBS, Aetna, and EMI insurance. I’m currently accepting new patients on my waitlist.

I received a Master’s in Educational Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with Mental Performance Consulting at the University of Utah, I’m a clinical mental health counselor, and I’ve worked as a counselor in Utah for the past five years. I believe you have the insight and the capacity to reach your goals and realize the personal growth you desire. I will guide you toward that insight by equipping you with practical tools and resources tailored to your unique needs and fostering compassion and curiosity. It is your hour. Each session is dedicated entirely to you, and my goal is to ensure it feels authentic, affirming, and free of judgment. Whether you’re striving for better balance, inner peace, or greater clarity in life, I will provide the space and tools for you to be successful.

I specialize in helping individuals who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, performance anxiety common among artists and athletes, professional burnout, and grief after loss of a loved one. If you’re experiencing challenges that leave you feeling overwhelmed, including (but not limited to) trauma, changes in life stage, a faith transition, entering/graduating from college, receiving an ADHD diagnosis in adulthood, day-to-day stressors, or challenges associated with the female or LGBTQIA+ experience, I’d feel privileged to be your therapist.

In our sessions, we will use powerful tools, including Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Multicultural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help you make positive changes and feel more joy.

Together, we will zoom out and consider the ways your experiences are shaped by the world around you, and we will zoom in to understand the parts of yourself that are tired, hurting, and in need of compassion. By taking this 3-D view of yourself, you can expect to gain clarity, self-compassion, and direction toward greater happiness, healing, and peace.

If my therapy approach sounds like a good fit, let’s schedule a 15-minute exploratory call at no charge to you.

I accept SelectHealth, DMBA, BCBS, Aetna, and PEHP insurance, and I am currently accepting patients on my waiting list (telehealth only).

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about helping people heal their relationships. As a relational therapist, I support my clients to explore and identify relationship patterns that interfere with their personal well-being and the health of their relationship. I am committed to helping you learn strategies to resolve conflict, communicate more effectively, and establish and strengthen emotional intimacy. I believe that true healing and change comes from self-acceptance and building authentic, meaningful connections with self and others.

I specialize in helping clients heal intimate relationships following betrayal. Betrayal can be devastating and can leave you feeling disoriented and unsure how to cope, and I believe everyone deserves honesty and compassion in rebuilding their lives. Using techniques to treat trauma and help rebuild trust and connection, I can help you reclaim your lives and move toward growth.

I also help people who are struggling with issues related to sex and sexuality. I am trained in sex therapy and utilize a sex-positive approach to help you work through issues ranging from low desire, sexual performance challenges, or sexual shame. I’m also passionate about helping people with faith transitions, religious trauma, working with women who want more of a voice in their relationships, creating healthy boundaries, and supporting singles as they navigate the complexities of dating. Lastly, I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults struggling with identity, friendships, school difficulties, family challenges, depression and/or anxiety.

My therapy utilizes techniques from Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Gottman Therapy, attachment-based therapies, compassion-focused therapy, and family systems therapy. I use a feminist approach and I provide a safe space for members of LGBTQIA+ community.

I’m in network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, and Quest Behavioral Health. I have immediate openings for in-person or telehealth appointments.

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who strives to create an atmosphere of acceptance, non-judgement, curiosity and warmth during the therapeutic process. I believe that individuals have everything they need inside of them, and my role is to help uncover their internal resources so that individuals can experience the joy of a meaningful relationship with themselves and others. Drawing from my trauma-informed yoga teacher background, we will collaborate to move at a pace that feels manageable and productive for you and your body.

I enjoy working with individuals, families, couples, and those in non-monogamous relational dynamics. I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with trauma, faith transitions, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, perfectionism/OCD, relational challenges, sex/intimacy issues, and life transitions. My approach is to help clients build confidence and trust in themselves by fostering self-compassion and self-acceptance.

As a systemic therapist, I’m mindful of my positionality in relation to my clients. I strive to attune to the diverse backgrounds, sexual and gender orientations, and relational dynamics they bring. I utilize a few forms of therapy, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to support clients to find balance, happiness, and safety in themselves and their body.

I have immediate in-person or telehealth openings for private pay clients, SelectHealth, DMBA, Aetna, BCBS, U of U Health Plans, Tricare, and EMI Health. I am currently supervised by Connor Barham, LMFT.
