Common Questions
Do you currently have openings?
On the Meet our Team page, you can look at each therapist’s profile to see whether they have immediate openings.
What are your specialties?
Each therapist has unique skills, which you can read more about on our team page.
Generally, we provide individual, couple, and family therapy using IFS. We have experience working with depression, suicidality, problematic/out-of-control sexual behavior, trauma, anxiety, OCD, faith transitions, and coping skills.
While we use multiple forms of therapy, we primarily use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) framework.
Please reach out to book a 15-minute consultation if you are unsure whether Wellspring Healing and Therapy is a good fit for your needs.
What is IFS?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that supports healing by improving inner and outer connectedness. Read more here.
Do you only use IFS?
No, we use many therapeutic modalities. Each therapist has their own skill set. Read more about each therapist to find out more about their particular therapeutic approach. You can also book a consultation with any of our therapists to get a feel for the types of therapy they use.
What is your pricing?
We accept most major Utah-based health insurance providers, and each therapist’s cash pay rate is listed on his or her individual page. If we are out of network with your insurance, we can provide a superbill for you to provide to your insurance company, and they may cover a portion of your visit.
What should I expect during my therapy session?
During your first session, your therapist will spend time getting to know you, and vice-versa. Future sessions will be spent addressing your chosen areas of concern using compassion-driven and evidence-based approaches. You can expect a safe, non-judgmental environment that will allow you to explore and grow. Each session lasts just under an hour.
