Play Therapy

Play is a way of helping kids feel safe and supported–necessary precursors to working through big feelings, challenges, and/or changes. Since children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re going through, a trained therapist uses toys, games, art, and storytelling to help them express themselves, build confidence, and learn healthy ways to cope. Emotional work happens at the kids’ own pace and in their own language: play.
