Annie Reeves Johnson, MS, MFTI

I help people experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, faith transitions, pornography, and health challenges using a trauma-informed lens. I use IFS, ACT, EFT, and the Gottman method to help my clients access their innate ability to heal.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Brigham Young University, having earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Family Studies. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relational conflict, sex and intimacy issues, shame, pornography, faith transitions, and emotional and relational impacts due to health challenges. As a systemic therapist, I focus on the diverse contextual backgrounds that are brought into the therapy room—seen and unseen. I enjoy seeing couples, families, and teens.

Using therapeutic models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and principles from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman Method, I help clients access their innate ability to heal themselves. My ultimate goal is to walk alongside clients as they build emotional safety, connect more deeply with themselves, and create a life that feels true and authentic.

I believe that healing happens when we are true to ourselves. I encourage clients to integrate practices like mindfulness, self-care, and gentle exposure into their daily life to support ongoing growth. Through a trauma-informed and relational lens, I support clients in navigating their circumstances by balancing curiosity and compassion with honesty and intentional challenge.

I am supervised by Connor Barham, LMFT.

Therapy sessions last 55 minutes. Initial intake: $120/session. Ongoing therapy: $100/session.
